Dealer ID labels

EMN offers motorcycle dealers and/or brands a free or paying Dealer ID-label for our E-dealer search page. Dealers have to contact EMN by email (a mailbutton is provided by each formula). Dealers can use also the dealer ID-label form to fill in all the requested information. Purposes of the processing

Electric Motorcycles News collects and processes dealers’ personal data for displaying their ID-label on the website of EMN. Data from dealers who have chosen the paying feature, are also used for customer and invoice management.

Legal foundation for the processing

Personal data is processed based on Article 6.1. required for the implementation of an agreement of the General Data Protection Act. [Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place based on Article 6.1. dealers always have the right to withdraw the given consent.

Transfer to third parties

The responsible company for processing information, EMN respects the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 regarding the protection of privacy in the processing of personal information. The personal information you share with us is used only for the purpose of displaying the Dealer ID-label at our website. We treat your information as confidential and shall not rent or sell it to third parties.

Retention period

Personal data processed for dealer management will be stored for the time necessary to satisfy legal requirements (in terms of bookkeeping, among others).

Right to inspection, improvement, deletion, limitation, objection and transferability of personal data

The dealer has at all times the right to inspect their personal data and can have it improved/improve it should it be incorrect or incomplete, have it removed, limit its processing an object to the processing of their personal data based on Article 6.1 (f), including profiling based on said provisions.

Furthermore, the dealer is entitled to obtain a copy (in a structured, standard and mechanically readable form) of their personal data and to have said personal data forwarded to another company.

Electric Motorcycles News doesn’t use dealers’ personal info for direct marketing or any other marketing purposes.

How long we retain your data

Personal data collected or processed by our website: we keep dealer contact form entries for 1 year and some dealer purchase records for 7 years (bookkeeping records).

Complaint

The dealer has the right to file a complaint with the Belgian Privacy Protection Commission (35 Rue de la Presse, 1000 Brussels – commission@privacycommission.be).
